Unlike industrial stamping or standardized mass production, full handmade teapot making relies on the artisan's hands throughout the forming and finishing process. The clay is shaped, trimmed, refined, and finished by hand, with meticulous attention to every detail — from wall thickness and lid fit to spout alignment and handle balance.

We source natural Zisha ore from Huanglong Mountain. Every chunk of ore is hand-sorted to remove impurities before being ground into fine powder. The clay is then sealed in earthen jars to age for a minimum of six months, yielding a smooth, porous texture ideal for tea brewing.
Master artisans pound the clay extensively by hand. This labor-intensive step compacts mineral particles and expels trapped air, creating a delicate texture that mechanical mixing can never replicate.
Crafting one teapot relies on dozens of traditional hand tools, including hand rolling clay slabs, shaping the pot body and detailed trimming. Artisans discard and restart any pot with even the tiniest imperfection. The full production cycle stretches across months, carrying forward a craft heritage spanning over 600 years.
